Container types

Standard containers

Standard containers are fully enclosed units with rigid walls, roof and floor. They are used to transport most dry cargo packed in boxes, sacks, pallets or bales.

Standard containers are divided into 20- and 40-foot containers.

Flat rack containers

Flat racks are steel-framed containers without side walls, with a wooden floor and fixed or folding end walls. They are typically used to transport heavy, bulky or oversized loads. Flat racks are available in two dimensions: 20-foot and 40-foot.

Open top containers

Open top containers differ from standard containers in that they do not have a rigid roof. This is replaced by a flexible tarpaulin that can be moved or removed completely. These containers are ideal for transporting bulky goods - the tarpaulin can be moved freely to allow crane access to the top of the container.

Open Top is divided into 20-foot and 40-foot containers.

Platform containers

Platform containers are designed for extremely heavy loads that do not fit into other containers. Their load capacity is up to 40 tonnes. Thanks to their robust floor, they are ideal for transporting goods with high point loads.

Like other containers, platforms are divided into 20-foot and 40-foot containers.

Refrigerated containers

Refrigerated containers are thermally insulated units with compressors to heat or cool the packed cargo within the container. Their walls are usually filled with foam to provide effective insulation. Many refrigerated containers also have adjustable ventilation to allow better internal airflow.

This type of container is designed for transporting temperature-sensitive goods, such as foodstuffs. Cargo that needs to remain at a constant temperature above or below freezing should be transported in a refrigerated container.

Refrigerated containers are divided into 20-foot and 40-foot containers.

Elevated containers

Elevated containers made of steel and aluminium provide additional space for transporting light, bulky cargo. These containers are divided into two sizes: 40-foot and 45-foot.

Wardrobe containers for hanging garments

Do you need to transport high-quality clothing? Clothes hanging wardrobe containers (GOH) are perfect for this purpose. With string, rod or a combination of these systems, a higher load capacity is achieved and the garments will arrive intact.

These containers are available in 20- and 40-foot sizes.
