Every day, shelters help a huge number of animals - usually with limited resources and very little publicity. At Venax, we appreciate this work - actively supporting such facilities is part of our company's mission.

We support animal shelters

Venax strives to get involved in numerous social initiatives and to help people and animals in need. As such, we donate significant amounts to local homeless animal shelters.

Every year, in each of our eight offices, our company organizes a drop for dog and cat food. With the proceeds, we purchase the necessary items and then deliver them to local shelters.

Supporting local social and relief initiatives is part of Venax's mission. We strive to play our own role in ensuring that animals from shelters can live in dignity.

Why help shelters?

Animal shelters perform an important function in our society. They give their charges a chance to find a new home. Most of them accept both homeless and voluntarily abandoned animals by their owners. 

Despite the benefits provided by shelter services, they often do not receive adequate resources and attention. Shelters and pet rescue operations need donations from the community to operate effectively and efficiently. However, many such facilities lack the resources to provide adequate conditions for all their charges.

Regular support of animal shelters at the local level proves to be extremely important for their proper functioning. Any form of assistance, such as the provision of appropriate supplies or food, helps them to work actively for the benefit of animals in the area.

The crucial importance of shelters

As a company, we want to thank the shelters and their dedicated employees, making every effort to save as many animals as possible. This is extremely necessary and difficult work, which often takes place without much publicity. However, the goal of the volunteers is not to collect praise, but to fight for the health and lives of their charges.

Shelters are also important for local governments. The lack of such centers could seriously strain municipal resources - thousands of stray animals could roam freely in urban neighborhoods, with disastrous effects on public safety and health.

Shelters play a key role in ensuring the safety of our pets and cities. The companies that work with them educate the public and provide the resources they need to be proactive. 

In an ideal world, there would be no need for animal shelters. But looking at the issue realistically, the more support we can all provide, the easier it will be for shelters to fulfill their mission and help all of their charges. This is also a task for local companies, which have the capacity and resources needed to bring effective help to such facilities.
