Documents necessary for customs clearance
Customs clearance is not an easy matter. However, the complicated process is simplified thanks to specialists in the shipping market. Venax offers preferential customer service. It is important to have a commercial invoice that is multilingual. Everything in it must be adapted to the local language. So, when importing goods to Poland, the invoice should be Polish-language with Polish tax rates. We should also have a packing list, or cargo specification. It includes how many pieces of a particular commodity we have, what commodity, net weight, gross weight and cubic capacity. If we decide to transport by sea, a packing list will also be necessary. He must include one of three options: Telex Relase, which is a document authorizing the release of the goods. There are other forms: Express B/L Sea waybill or the original bill of lading. In the case of air transport we need an Air Waybill. If transporting by rail we need a CIM/SMGS. In addition, there is also a payment confirmation or certificate of origin, which confirms that the goods originate from the exporter's country. Some products must also have a CE certificate and test reports. These are certificates showing that they have achieved the standards of the New Approach Directive. If you decide to import and export fauna you should also have CITES. This authorizes us to export and import wildlife to and from other countries. Of the other documents, the fumigation certificate, declaration of customs value and other certificates are also specified. The documents we should receive are the SAD, PZC and POD. These are respectively documents confirming the start of the customs process. The PZC, on the other hand, confirms the importation of goods. The POD informs us of the amount of duties to be paid.
